How to Easily Remove Bloatware From Windows 10

Bloatware has become a problem for all users who choose to buy a laptop, as manufacturers insist on adding a greater number of applications than 99% of users. They never plan to use, since they use other applications with which they have been working for some time.

Manufacturers have no intention of ceasing their endeavors. Fortunately, Microsoft is aware of this bad practice, And the only thing you can do to avoid it is to offer us a tool to eliminate all that useless software that comes pre-installed on laptops.

If you buy a desktop computer, most likely, it comes without an operating system, so I have not included this type of computer among those affected. However, it may also be if we buy it from the same manufacturers that sell laptops like Asus, Lenovo, HP, or Dell.

The function that allows us to remove bloatware from our computer is called Start from scratch, a function that we can access by performing the following steps:

  • First, we access the Windows configuration options through the start menu or by pressing the key combination: Windows key + i
  • Then we click on Update and security and in the next menu in Windows security.
  • In the next section, we click on Device’s performance and status. In the right column, we find the option to start from scratch.

This option allows us to perform a clean and updated installation of Windows 10, keeping all the files that we have on our computer without using the software that the manufacturer offers us, for the existence of bloatware is reduced to zero.

Keep in mind that all the applications that we have installed will also be removed, so you should take it into account before carrying out this process. If you always use them, you will have no problem reinstalling them.
