How to Find Out What Processor Your PC Have

When it comes to expanding our team, we can always start with the simplest, such as changing RAM or the hard drive. But if we want to go further and we want to expand the power that currently offers us, we must change the processor of our equipment.

But first, we must know which is the processor and manufacturer of our equipment, as long as it is a desktop, since changing a laptop’s processor is impossible (all components are soldered). If you want to know which is the processor that manages your equipment, below we show you the steps to follow.

To know which is the processor of our PC, we have at our disposal two methods, and none of them require installing third-party applications.

How to Find Out What Processor Your PC Have

Memory through BIOS

The first one is through BIOS of our equipment, where we can also change the order of the boot units (if we want to start our equipment from a USB or CD), and modify some values of the equipment. That is, unless you know what you are playing, the best thing you can do is just consult the information you need. Any changes you make can affect not only the startup of the computer, but also its performance.

Memory through the system

The other way to know the RAM of our team, we find it within the Windows configuration options. To access this information, we access the configuration options through the start menu or by pressing the key combination Windows key + i.

Then we click on System. Within system, in the left column, we must select About. In the right column, within the Device Specifications section, just below the name of our team on the network, the processor of our team.
