You can Set up your Gmail account in Microsoft Outlook on your Desktop so that you can access your emails offline at any time and also send email directly from Outlook application.

How to set up Gmail in Outlook
Step 1: If you want to create Gmail in Outlook then first, login to your Gmail account.
Step 2: Click on the Settings option on the top side of the right corner as shown below in the picture.
Step 3: Go to Forwarding and POP/MAP option.
Step 4: Next, you need to enable the IMAP option as shown below.
Step 5: Click on Save changes for the further step.
Step 6: Go back to the Gmail account and click on Sign out.
Step 7: To set up Gmail in Outlook, go to search option and click on Microsoft Outlook as shown below in the picture.
Step 8: For Outlook mail set up, click on the File option on the top corner of the left side.
Step 9: Go to the Account Settings options by clicking on Info just below the File menu.
Step 10: After you click on Account Settings, you will see a new tab where you need to click on for the further step.
Step 11: Then click on New tab as shown below.
Step 12: Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click the Next
Step 13: Next, select Internet E-mail option and click on Next.
Step 14: In the next step, fill up all your Gmail account details through which you want to login into Outlook. Select Account type as IMAP and click on Next.
Step 15: You will be directed to a new window where you need to select Outlook Server and mark the outgoing server as shown below in the picture.
Step 16: Next, go to the Advanced section and fill Incoming server (IMAP) with 993, Outgoing server (SMTP)with 465 and switch encrypted connection to SSL. Click on Ok.
Step 17: Select Text Account Settings in the next step.
Step 18: Here you can see Send test e-mail message has been completed.
Step 19: Now, open Outlook and you can see the set up of your Gmail account in Outlook.
